Despite certain national distinctions, the major trends in young people’s electoral and political participation are very similar between France and Quebec. This applies not only to the data on measurable participation presented below, but also to the fact that a large proportion of young people’s political action and expression today takes place on the bangs of what has traditionally been considered political participation.
