Interview pour l’émission Topic du 28 mai : « Le quartier où je vis définit-il qui je suis ? »

As part of the 2022 edition of the TOPIC program on the theme of “Does the neighborhood I live in define who I am?”, we interviewed Jeanne Demoulin, a lecturer in educational science, Fanny Salane, a teacher-researcher in educational science, and Louiza Aoufi, a young resident of Aubervilliers.

They took part in “Jeunes de Quartier”, a participatory research project carried out in ten towns and neighborhoods in the Paris region. What does it mean to be young in a working-class neighborhood? What social, urban and family experiences does it entail, and what visions of one’s place in society and the local area does it conjure up? These are the questions at the heart of this research project.
