What better place to talk about women living in the city than from one of the largest and most populated cities in the world: Mexico City. Today we give space to discuss a great contribution to the field, the book entitled: Mujeres habitando la ciudad. Transgressions, appropriations and violence, coordinated by Angela Margoth Bacca and Julie-Anne Baudreau. They accompany us along with Laura Andrea Ferro Higuera who collaborates in the book and Guillermina Rosas López who, along with Jafet Alejandro Guerrero Gutiérrez, comment the book. They speak from interdisciplinary perspectives such as geography, anthropology, sociology, urbanism, and they insist on transgressive outlooks. They address Mexico City, Bogota and Rio de Janeiro. We continue with a month full of voices and topics, recognizing the great critics and writers who present in FILUNI 2023, organized Socorro Venegas and Rosa Beltran in their positions in Libro UNAM and Cultura UNAM and Sonia Feigenbaum from the University of Texas at Austin.
