J’te parle du Nord

A cartographic project that takes us into the daily lives of five residents aged 18 to 23 in the northeastern part of the Montréal-Nord borough. For just over a year, we met to conduct collaborative research and pass on another message about Montreal North: theirs. The platform offers two complementary maps that render the representations and practices of their daily spaces: a map drawn by one of them, allowing you to browse through everyday places they photographed on Instagram (“their eyes” map), and a web map (“their places” map) allowing you to follow their discourse through a commented walk recorded on a cell phone.
