TRYSPACES
The TRYSPACES network, in collaboration with the Geomedia Lab at Concordia University, held its 3rd alternative mapping workshop on February 4, 2020. The workshop, organized by a team from the INRS Urbanization Culture Society Center, focused on the use of mapping to collect data, to analyze it or to disseminate results.
The mapping processes can be multiple: critical, social, participatory, narrative, emotional mapping, etc. The idea of the workshop was to offer a space to reflect collaboratively on specific cases, problems or issues, in order to propose conceptual, empirical or technical tools to support the resolution of problems proposed by the speakers. The workshop brought together nearly forty participants, both researchers and students from different disciplines and from all Montreal universities, as well as network partners.
