This thesis makes visible the tensions present in both the discourse and application of migration policy, which in turn influence the social relations that occur during transit. These socio-spatial inequalities are analyzed with an intersectional approach in order to answer the following question: how has Mexican migration policy influenced the production of inequalities in the migration process?
